Ganesh Birth Story
It is said that before starting any work, the name of Shri Ganesh should be taken. That is why I also started this series of Indian mythological stories with Lord Ganesha. Why do not we go to know about Ganesh ji and start with the story of his birth.
The story of the birth of Ganesh ji is very exciting. Many years ago when the terror of demons had increased on earth, Mahadev was away from Shivalow to help Shiva Devas. Mata Parvati, Shiva's godmother, was alone in Shivalow. When Parvati wanted to take bath, she was worried about the safety of the house. Although Shiva was not able to kill any wings without Shiva's orders, he feared that no unauthorized entry would be done in the absence of Shiva Ji. Therefore, he built a child with his power (mother goddess Parvati as mother power) as security, and named him Ganesh. He appointed Ganesh ji with tremendous powers and strict instructions to stop anyone from entering the house. With this, Mother Parvati got engaged in her bathing process and Ganesh ji took charge of her guard.
Here the gods were being overwhelmed by the demons. Shiva won the battle and went happily towards Shilova. First to reach home, he wished to tell Parvati Mata about his victory. But unknown by Ganesha's authority by Shiva, he stopped him from entering the house. There was no place for Shiva's anger when he stopped to enter his own house. They separated Ganesha from the head and entered the house. When Parvati ji heard this story, he heard big news about the news of the death of Ganesh. He called upon Shiva to slaughter his own son and urged him to instantly revive Ganesha. Apart from celebrating Ruthi Parvati Mata, Shiva did not have any other way.
Shivaji said that Ganesha can not be added to the head again, but the head of a living creature can definitely be established. The servants of Shiva came out to find such a creature in the jungle, who was sleeping on the north side and keeping on sleeping. One such elephant was sleeping on the north side in the forest. The servants of Shiva took him up and brought him in. Shiva ji added elephant's head to the body of Ganesh Ji and thus there was communication of life in Ganesha's body. Not only that, Shiva also said that before the introduction of any new work the earthwish will worship Lord Ganesha and lust for the blessings of launch. This is why Ganesha's head is like elephant, and we started our stories only from the story of Ganesh ji.
From today, you will not forget to take Ganapati's blessings before doing any good work. Say Ganapati Bappa Moraya ..
